What's on at our Church
Welcome
Thank you for visiting our webpage. We hope you find it interesting and that you find the information that you are looking for.
Carnwadric Church is a congregation on the south side of Glasgow and we serve the local community which is made up of Arden, Carnwadric, Kennishead and Regent’s Park.
The Church Family is important to us from the youngest to the oldest and we express this in different ways such as sending birthday cards to the children, supporting young people to go on Scripture Union camps, and celebrating special occasions with the young at heart members of the family.
Our photo gallery includes some photos of the most recent celebrations that we have had. While most people would recognise our morning worship services as having all the usual parts: prayer, scripture and bible teaching, we enjoy exploring different kinds of worship together.
Praying for people who need encouragement and healing is important to us, and our confidential prayer ministry team pray every evening for those who need this support. Many of our people speak about how being prayed for in this way was a great support to them. We believe that encouraging one another to pray and to have a relationship with God, through His son Jesus, is something that we can all be part of.
We are not perfect but we try to be faithful.
Our relationships with the community also matters a great deal to us, and the partnership work with the 3 projects – Carnwadric WIN Project, the Rainbow Centre and Eden Garden project means that our church building is a busy place during the week. We provide a mid-week children’s club for primary school children with bible stories, crafts and games and we also run a Baby and Toddlers group. Both these groups are busy and are offered during school term time.
If you plan on coming along on a Sunday morning to a service, then we are open from 10.30 am and tea/coffee is served after worship. There is a crèche and Sunday ‘J’ Team for the children.
You can find about more about our Church by e-mailing us or by visiting us on Facebook and YouTube.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
